Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between ATS private tutoring and online tutoring?
The only difference between in-person private tutoring and online tutoring is where you are sitting! You get access to the same tutors and course materials. Your tutor might be on the other side of the country, but you will be able to interact through audio, video and the whiteboard as if he or she were sitting right next to you.
Is a web camera included with enrollment into online tutoring? Is it required?
Your online enrollment includes a pen and tablet, headset and all necessary course materials. A web camera is not included, but we do support any web camera you already have. Even without a camera, you will still be able to see and hear your tutor and he or she will be able to hear you.
What do I do after enrolling in an online tutoring package?
As soon as you have enrolled, we will ship you all the necessary materials and begin matching you with one of our experienced tutors. After you have received everything, we will set up a short tech session with our support staff to make sure everything is working properly before your first tutoring session.
What if my tutor is not a good fit?
Choosing the right tutor for each student is the key to the success of our courses. If you are not satisfied with the tutor you are assigned, we will gladly match you with a different tutor at no additional cost.
