Privacy

Appelrouth Tutoring Services recognizes the importance of keeping the personal information we collect private. We do not provide any of your information to other companies or organizations for any reason.

Guarantee

We stand behind our tutoring. If our students commit to the tutoring process, show up and give 100%, we promise to meet them there and give our all to prepare each student for success.

We guarantee the results of students who complete all the course requirements in our 8-week group course and the results of students who complete a private tutoring package consisting of 12 or more hours. To qualify for our guarantee, a group student must attend every session of the 8-week course, and a private student must attend a minimum of 12-hours of private tutoring. Additionally, each student must complete the weekly assigned homework and attend at least two of the scheduled mock tests after tutoring begins and prior to sitting for the official SAT test.

We guarantee that if a student fully participates in our program by fulfilling the above requirements, he or she will achieve a score increase of at least 100 points on the official SAT. As our baseline for measuring improvement, we will use the highest official SAT score of the student prior to our course. In the event a student has only taken the PSAT and has never taken the official SAT, he or she must sit for one of our mock SATs before tutoring begins in order to generate a baseline score.

If a student fails to increase 100 points between the three test sections (no subtractions are made for decreased scores), we will credit that student 4 additional private tutoring hours and unlimited mock tests (at no additional charge) to help prepare the student for future administrations of the SAT. This represents a $350-$400 value.

Refunds

We do not offer refunds for our services. We create a plan designed to help students based on our successful track record and offer guaranteed results for certain packages and complimentary tutoring if these guaranteed goals aren't met. While we strive to prepare students to the best of our ability for their standardized testing, it is impossible to predict the outcome of a test ahead of time.

Reminders

Appelrouth Tutoring Services makes the best effort to contact a student or their parents at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled tutoring session or mock test. We can not guarantee the delivery of any automated reminder. It is the student's responsibility to keep up with their schedule and communicate changes/conflicts with their tutor.

Cancellations

Tutor and client must give each other 24 hours to reschedule or cancel an appointment, otherwise the tutor owes the client a make-up session or the client pays for tutor's reserved time.

Travel Fees

Fees will be assessed for any travel by a tutor to a student's residence or anywhere not listed in our tutoring locations.

Late Fees

We reserve the right to apply late fees and suspend tutoring for late payment. If you have a question about your bill, or you have a dispute with the charges in your current statement, please contact us.
