Subject Tutoring
In addition to SAT, ACT and SAT Subject prep, we offer tutoring in most high school subjects.
The tutoring structure is flexible and can be tailored to meet each student's needs. Many students wish to meet with a tutor regularly throughout the year in order to ensure that they are keeping on top of the material and will not have to crunch at exam time; other students only want to meet tutors before tests or papers or as a way to review before the AP exams at the end of the year.

Math
We have tutors capable of teaching most high school math courses, including, but not limited to, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics. Many of our math tutors have taken (and received 5's on) the AP Calculus and Statistics tests, and most of them are either engineering students at Georgia Tech or mathematics/science majors at Emory.
All of our tutors have had previous teaching experience, and many of them have worked as supplemental instructors, teaching assistants, or tutors for math courses at their respective universities.
English
We have qualified tutors available to work with students who find that they need extra help in their high school English classes. Tutors can help students plan reading timelines to keep up with intense courses, fine-tune term papers, review grammar rules, and prepare for the AP Literature and Language exams.
In addition to helping students with their high school English classes, we also offer help with college admissions essays. Our tutors assist students at every step of the essay-writing process, from brainstorming topics to editing final drafts. We work with the students to help them produce essays that will both appeal to college admissions officers and maintain each student's authentic voice.
History
We currently have tutors available to work with students in most high school history subjects, including both AP European and AP US History. Tutors can assist students both by reviewing specific material before tests and by helping students plan history projects and papers. Additionally, our tutors can work with AP students on preparing for the oftentimes dreaded DBQs (Document Based Questions).
Biology
Our tutors work with students to help them not only memorize but also understand the steps behind biological processes such as cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Most of our biology tutors are biology majors or pre-medical students at Emory University, and their extensive and diverse experience with biology can bring life to a subject that many students find dull.
In addition to helping students perform well in their high school classrooms, our tutors can help students who are preparing to take the AP Biology exam.
Physics
Our tutors are qualified to help students with all of the major topics taught in most regular, honors, and AP physics courses, including mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and particle physics.
Most of these tutors are engineering students at Georgia Tech, and all of them have previous tutoring experience.
Chemistry
We offer tutoring in chemistry at all levels, including AP Chemistry. Most of our chemistry tutors are pre-medical students and chemistry majors at Emory University, and many of them have worked as teaching assistants or tutors at the college level.
Whether students are struggling with the finer points of stoichiometry or just trying to memorize the elements of the periodic table, our tutors can help guide them and get them on track for both their classroom and advanced placement exams.
